John Astor, with a Master’s in Business Administration, focusing on Management and Marketing, has a long history in hydroponics and the distribution of fresh grown produce. From 1986 – 1998, he worked for Lone Palm Farm in Hawaii, learning the entire growing, harvesting and packing process as well as being their sole distributor throughout the islands. The company, growing a mix of leaves and a variety of bean sprouts, was the state leader in organic indoor produce and grew rapidly and profitably throughout the years when Mr. Astor lead the marketing and distribution. His creative abilities also assisted in the improvements and development of the growing processes.

After moving to France, he became a Management Coach and Consultant to some of the world’s largest and most profitable organizations in different aspects of the management spectrum as well as keeping up to date with developments in indoor controlled growing environments such as the introduction of DWC (Deep Water Culture), NFT (Nutrient Film Technique), vertical farming and all that goes with it such as LED grow lighting, nutrient solutions, oxygen circulation and water quality assurance.
